Dato' Abu Samah bin Shabudin
Business Development Director
Dato' Abu Samah holds a Bachelor of Arts (Southeast Asian Studies) from University of Malaya.
In the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (MDTCA) , he served as Senior Director and Director in the Domestic Trade Divisions of Pahang and Kuala Lumpur, overseeing trade practices, pricing, and market compliance, which involved ensuring retailers adhered to regulations and protecting consumer interests.
At Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) , he enforced the Competition Act 2010, handling cases that directly impacted retail markets and consumer-facing services, including cartels in bakeries, floriculture, and ice manufacturing, as well as abuse-of-dominance investigations such as MyEG, a digital platform providing online services for foreign worker permits and insurance. These roles gave him extensive regulatory oversight of both offline and digital marketplaces, equipping him with deep knowledge of trade practices, market conduct, and competitive dynamics in retail and e-commerce sectors.
While his experience is largely in policy, compliance, and market regulation, it reflects a strong foundation in ensuring fair competition and consumer protection across retail and online service platforms.

Mr. Kelvin Chin Ching Loon founded Pan Fareast Resources Sdn. Bhd. in 2017 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. He plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s strategic growth and strengthening its market position. With his strong leadership and forward-looking vision, Mr. Kelvin has been deeply involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring operational efficiency while fostering a high-performance culture within the organisation.
Under his guidance, the company has expanded its business portfolio, enhanced stakeholder relationships, and implemented initiatives that support long-term sustainability and innovation. His ability to anticipate market trends and steer the team toward new opportunities has been instrumental in charting the company’s direction and sustaining its competitive advantage.
